Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026.

Centris Insurance helps drivers who've had a lapse, a violation, an SR-22 requirement or another high-risk factor understand their coverage options and request quotes. This policy covers CentrisInsurance.net only. We don't operate under a separate registered company name at the moment, so "Centris" and "we" both mean CentrisInsurance.net.

At a glance

  • Reading the site: we keep server logs and use Google Analytics. We don't sell that data.
  • Requesting a quote: we sell your details to auto insurance companies, agents and brokers (including those that insure high-risk drivers) and to companies that connect drivers with them, so they can quote you.
  • You can stop the sale or sharing of your information whenever you want using our contact form.

What we collect when you browse

Our web server logs your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and when. Google Analytics 4 places cookies in your browser and reads your IP address, device and page views so we get aggregate traffic numbers and a rough location (state or city). We use analytics only to measure the site. You can block the cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.

What we collect when you request a quote

Insurers need a fair amount of detail to quote a driver, especially after a violation or lapse, so our form asks for:

  • who you are and how to reach you: name, email, phone, street address, city, state, ZIP;
  • about you: date of birth, gender, marital status, military service in your family, education level, a credit range you select yourself (we never check your credit), and whether you own or rent;
  • your cars and cover: year, make, model and ownership of up to two vehicles; the coverage level you want; your current insurer and how long you've been insured; whether your licence is valid; whether you need an SR-22.

We also keep proof of your consent: the wording you agreed to, when, your IP address and browser, the page address, and whether Global Privacy Control was turned on in your browser. TrustedForm, a service from ActiveProspect, records the quote page and how you completed the form, and issues a certificate showing you gave consent.

What we collect if you contact us or make a request

Messages sent through our contact form, including privacy requests, are emailed to us, and we keep a copy of the details you enter with the IP address and browser used.

How it's used

We use personal information to get your quote request to insurers and agents; to prove you consented to be contacted; to stop spam and abuse; to see how the site is used; and to answer requests and meet legal duties.

Selling or sharing your data

We sell personal information. Your quote request and the record of your consent go to auto insurance companies, agents and brokers, including those that insure high-risk drivers and file SR-22s, and to companies that connect drivers with them. These companies may contact you as your consent allows and are responsible for their own use of it. We don't sell to anyone outside auto insurance.

Our service providers (web hosting, email, Google Analytics and ActiveProspect's TrustedForm) process data on our behalf. We'll also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Global Privacy Control

A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser counts as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of information collected from that browser. If you send a quote request with GPC on, we won't sell it, which also means insurers won't receive it.

Stopping calls and texts

Text STOP in reply to any message, tell the caller to stop, or choose "Stop contacting me" on our contact form. Within 10 business days we'll stop contacting you and stop sending your details to new companies. Companies that already received your request run their own do-not-contact lists, so tell them as well.

California "Do Not Sell or Share" notice and your rights

If you live in California, or in another state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to:

  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;
  • find out what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we collected it and which categories of companies we sold or disclosed it to;
  • ask us to delete it or correct it;
  • appeal a decision we make on your request;
  • use these rights without being treated differently.

California residents can also ask once a year about personal information we disclosed to other businesses for their own direct marketing.

Send any request through our contact form. We don't need to verify who you are to opt you out, and we do it within 10 business days. For other requests we match your details against our records and may email you to confirm. We'll acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. Someone you authorize in writing can make a request for you. If we delete your information, we notify the companies we sold it to.
